Sleeping beauty

I trusted my senses to be true,
Until the moment I met her.
Embodiment of beauty was she,
And a rare gift of nature.

I thought my eyes had seen it all,
Until I caught a glimpse of her sight.
So perfect and poetic,
Even her silhouette in the night.

I thought I had heard it all,
Until I listened to her sing.
So warm and melodious,
Even her gentle breathing.

I thought my nose had smelt it all,
Until I caught a whiff of her scent.
So soothing and pleasant,
All the while inherent.

I thought I had felt it all,
Until my fingers grazed her skin.
Sinfully supple and tender,
Even softer than satin.

I thought I had tasted it all,
Until I felt her kiss,
So divine and heavenly,
A true taste of bliss.

I thought I had lived it all,
Until the moment I met her,
I sprang to wake up,
Realized I'm just a chronic dreamer.
